Ok,

Question I have been looking for in Xbox-HQ can not seem to find, since I have already VOIDed my Manufactuer's Warrenty by breaking the seal on my Original Xbox Console and added a X3ce Mod Chip to do a hole lota things I was able to do already and provided a little extra by converting my now Modded Xbox Console into a Compliable Device to function with a Personal Computer via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) weather it be for Music, Movies, Pictures, and now the big money maker Video Games. Can I ask a question seeming that I noticed when I was inside my console that it has a Single Core Processor (Pentium Celeron) and a Grapic Processor (Xcalibur 59.94hz), now the question at hand is it possible to upgrade these two to perform like the Xbox360 Console and enable us to play Xbox360 games on the Original Xbox Console.......?

FYI: The United State is experiencing Ford Motor Company and Microsoft Commercials introducing of the Computer friendly car along with the use of the MP3 CD's, kinda of old or late if you ask me, since the introduction of Apple's Ipod and the sale's of Car's that come with a port for an Ipod.

I would hate to be the Music Artist or the CD manufacture who created either of the the two, who by some strange coincidential reason end up in Court for the act of some sort of Bodily Harm or Death, while driving down the road and someone in the car next to them desided to throw away there copy of some fine good listining music or something out the window........

So by doing this it still does not allow you to play Xbox360 Games.

Let me look at these Quick Links this is still interesting.

No, i really dont think the xbox will ever run a 360 game unless you pull the guts out of a 360 and put them in an xbox case. Laughing

Ok,
I like there "Conculsion" you found for me Wes213 >>>"Thanks!"<<<.

Quote:
The DreamX comes fully featured with flashable bioschip, pre-installed homebrew software, upgraded cpu (in 1480Mhz version), upgraded ram, cpu switch, bios switch (front eject/power), digital dolby surround output and s-video.
The cpu upgrade is without any doubt a very exciting hardware modification. Fun to play with and try out stuff (faster xbox-linux, optimizing emulators, some retail games play better, ...) but I think the DreamX will be something reserved for the die-hard Xbox and modding fans.
The only real downside is that some games or homebrew applications will not run correctly on this hardware. They will either run 'too fast', unsynchronized or some homebrew applications even refused to boot. But others will run at 'normal speed' with at higher framerate, lower loading time, faster controller response, ...
Second possible downside is the price, selling over double the retail price of an Xbox in USA ... but such an upgrade of cpu and ram is not the most easy thing to do and probably requires a lot of manhours + the research they had to do for the cpu upgrade board. If you think of the amount of work to upgrade an Xbox cpu, price of the 1.4ghz celeron, the 4x16MB ramchips that have to be bought and soldered, the digital audio port added and the 'modchip' installation (dreamkey) ... I think it's still a fair price. Like I said, I don't think the DreamX is made for the big public, it's something for those who like special/modded stuff or those who want a more powerfull machine next to their normal Xbox.
When you have this special Xbox in your hands you can claim you have the most powerful Xbox on the market and it will without any doubt become a collectors item. The ram upgrade is still something that you could do yourself if you can buy those ramchips and can solder like a pro ... but the cpu-upgrade is not something you can just do yourself and it will probably stay exclusive to the DreamX!

Again Wes213 thanks for the info, hope you don't mind that I added the Hyperlink oringinally posted on Xbox-Scene Febuary 2004 that answered the Big Question, basically if we were to turn time backwards or had forced them to make a Game Console with interchangable GPU & CPU's we would be taking care of the little guy's like me. Let's just sit back and relive that moment when the Original Xbox came out and wounder if we want to purchase a Game Console that does not have that option......

It is hard to say YES or NO, but with out this DreamX addon, it sure does look like they left a hole lota room for the Private Market of Mod Chips, and the appreciation of one's Game Console, because without the Debug Slots there is no better place to check your Console under Manufacture Warranty, on the other hand if you can appreciate your Game Console and more than just the Video Game enjoyment and find yourself with an After Market Mod Chip to force you Game Console to Emulate a Personal Computer that is still Dedicated to Video Gaming and achive what you set out to do, along with a Hole Lota people who make it all possible with almost very little or very alota' of no credit from the Manufactures of Game Consoles, I would like to stop for the moment and say THANK YOU ALL!!!

And instead of throwing my Game Console away when it burns out and not having an interchangable GPU & CPU's Slot's yes I WILL FIND SOME WAY TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM.
