Thanks Wes
I am trying to re-flash the bios from an existing 41?? bios to the new 5035 bios.
So in theory from the AIM4.10 cd, i can install EvoX dash, and from there upgrade the BIOS to 5035.. sounds reasonable?
Thanks
Sam

I was pretty sure the bios with "old" in it was correct.
bios with the OLD in the filename are for use with xbox versions 1.0-1.5 only, do not use on v1.6 xboxes

Still no luck
Problem i think is I am not getting evox to appear.
From the tut Wes sent me, it says "ok now for this it is already considered that you have evox installed on your system in someway (if you dont get it from Xbins) and that your chip is reflashable" So i thought it would be as easy as just point & shoot from the AIM 4.10.. But no..
So from AIM 4.10, just choose setup evox and then install a dashboard right?
To summarise:
X2.2 Lite Plus chip (current running a 4177 - I think).
Bios Checker comes up with unknown (from AIM 4.10)
Bios Id like to install 5035 and then Instal aim 4.10

Yes i think.
If you mean aid when you say aim, then what you can do is extract the aid iso on your pc, find and ftp evox to your xbox.
Just open the evox folder and launch it with the xbe file.

Thanks Wes, however I dont quite understand what to do. ie what do i do with the extracted ISO?
Just to re-cap:
XBOX 1.0
I have an executer 2.2 Lite plus chip <-- Is this reflashable?
Currently I have installed from AID the XBMC
What I cant do is install EVOX, when I do install, it just keeps rebooting.
What I would like to do is re-flash my 4177 bios to the 5035 bios.
Shouldnt I just be able to install the EVOX from AID 4.10 and then place the bios in the appropriate directory?
Having burnt the AID dvd, i thought it would then be straight forward?
Struggling..
Thanks

Look in the folders that have been extracted from the aid iso and find the folder that has the evox dash, ftp the evox dash folder to the xbox hdd.
Now that its on there open it and select the evox xbe file to launch the dash.
Hey Wes,
Just to let you know.. once booting AID 4.11 the "flash bios" program was installed on D:\ partition, and once i clicked on that I could flash the bios to 5035.
The only thing I havent managed to do is to install the EvoX from AID 4.11.., not sure why, so I have just gone with XBMC :=)
Now I would like to play some old xbox arcade rom's.. will search for it on google..
Thanks
Sam
