Hey I softmodded my xbox a while back with xboxhdm and ndure , but things didn't seem to be right.
I have an old version unleashX
1) I don't know if it's a security thing, but I was never able to access the C drive through file explorer.
2) Auto-update over the internet always downloaded the files but never installed.
3) I seem to have multiple dash files. example E:\DASH\ default.xbe, E:\ndts\default.xbe, unleashx.xbe
4) In E:\ndts\ I have a folder named files Which has what seems to be the contents of a C & E drive.
The C folder has msxboxdash.xbe, xOnlinedash.xbe, X2onlinedash.xbe
The E folder has 2 folders db, db2, and 3 rar files bk.rar, eb.rar, and evox.rar
So what I want to know is since I do not have a chip is my exploit supposed to be in the E drive because my bios is not flashed or can I use xbrowser to wipe everything and put the exploit directly onto the C drive? Can my bios be flashed without a chip? And what information do I need to wipe everything and put an updated version on my dash?

If your running a soft mod then no you can not flash a bios a bios is for a chip not hdd.
Are you running a stock hdd cuz if you are then thay dont hold much and most app's and such will be installed to the E drive because the C drive is small.
I hope that helps seeing as how i dont know a lot about softmods.

I had and original when I first did the mod and then upgraded to a 300gig and copied everything.

The main thing that makes a soft mod run is a game save file oo7,mechassault, or splinter cell and the save files go to E/udata so i wold guess if you wipe out the e drive your soft mod will stop working.
IDK softmods but thats my guess.

idk either I just used a noob tutorial back in the day. I guess I'll get AID or something and just use it to upgrade.
