How do i get my 5.1 surround to work again......it will only output to single channel ( or stereo at best ). I changed the setting in the system menu to it but still no change.........does unleashx even support surround?
Any help would be great , thanks

Im pretty sure it does, i dont have HDTV or upgraded sound but it should work. Just keep trying the settings in the dash. _________________

lol , i have for like two weeks. Its like that weather the game is ripped or not.......i just cant figure it out........I used the 007 game file to mod it if that helps or means anything

Hmm not sure about softmods, ive put on the real unleashX file on a mod chipped box and the setting works. Ive never tried on softmods so im not sure. _________________

do in need to reinstall the MS dash and set it in there? I dont think i set to that before i softmodded it ( didnt have surround sound though so.....)?

to be honest my little bro helped me out Im not sure , all i no is I have the Unleashx Dashboard ( waffle zone ) , that he used the 007 game save w/ his action replay and a Xbox hard drive maker disk for my 250gig Western Digital......I'm trying to find out as much as i can so i know how to do this stuff on my own ( hence the stupid questions " SID ?".....Im a total noob ) . To be honest , i wouldnt mind reinstalling everything and do it myself but
1. I dont have the tools to do it ( my little bro now sez he lost some of the stuff to do that ) and i dont have high speed ( except @ work )
2. do i need to be a vip member to get the tools i need becuase i go to the other sites and just get a bunch of pop-ups that take me nowhere

Thats a tough one. There are only 2 ways to get the latest version of SID. VIP member download, or a torrent link. Im pretty sure you cant run a torrent client on dialup, and I'm sure your work dosnt want you putting something like that on their computer. I'm really not even sure if re-doing your softmod will help you with your 5.1 audio. Hopefully Burner comes across this, cause he seems to be the ultimate xbox mod resource. I am kinda curious about the 5.1 audio thing though, cause I have surround sound upstairs on my other TV. _________________

are these right? Anyways so you dont think reinstalling the ms dash ( to coincide with unleashx ) will help?
