Ok, you wanted comments, so I'm hoping you were true on that.
1. Why not mount all the wires INSIDE and cut out some holes to mount the toggle switches into?
2. Mount the lights IN the case and cover with plexiglass?
3. Remove the green Xbox logo jewel and then mount the fan so it actually serves a purpose, maybe even find a way to mount it inside, then put some kind of screen over it, or metal protection grate over it so it can still breathe and not cause any damage if touched. Those blades can be LETHAL on a 12v fan.
4. Get rid of the power cord sticker on the front. That thing is really pointless, but if you MUST have it, put it on the back, parallel to where you had it on the front. That's where it was supposed to be mounted in the first place.
All in all, that 5 hours coulda been spent doing a lot more pondering before attacking the box. But if you follow the ideas above, you might get a better looking, and much more functional idea.
I realize that mounthing the lights and fan inside might be hard, but that's half the job of being a case modder. And if you take the time and make the lights even with the top of the case on the inside and get rid of all the unnessecary "mounting posts" then you should have enough room... And please, for your own sake, get rid of whatever that is that's electrical taped to the side of the box.............. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

i see what he's going for.....may cut some grooves in the shaps of your lights...mount them on the inside....so it wont look so ..umm...raw..i guess is the word im looking for...would look good like that..i would say put the fan where it was intended though....the lights would look good if mounted on the inside..however you would have to cut your case, groove out two long light holes...but would look neat i guess

yes he looks like hes basically planning ahead which is a good thing, trying to make a general layout, but drawing it out on paper might help as well. _________________

LOL I just had a closer look at the pic, thats no general layout, that fan was hot glued on, that is the mod, I say try again, but this time put it on the inside. _________________

Yeah, I hope you took a 4 and a half hour nap in between mounting the fans and the cathodes. Like everyone said already, just take your time, make the wiring internal, and at least cut out your jewel, or mount the fan on the inside. Good news is, everything is all wired up, and would only take minor cutting/resoldering to fit it all nice (inside or outside). another good thing is everything you did is not permanent.
Looks ok, but you could have made it alot more cosmetically appealing. _________________
