ya please can someone help me I downloaded the xbmc file thing n i dont know how to install it...

Are you trying to use it as your dash or run it as an app? If you're just going to use it as your app all you need to do is put it into your app folder. If you're trying to use it as your dash though you gotta give us alittle more info on your setup. _________________

yai want it as a dashbord (want to show it off to my friend whos crazy about the 360 ) what you need like info? like my softmod n stuff? well i softmodded my xbox with krazie (theres another word after it but i cant remember what it was..:S) and my curent dashboard is unleashX v0.38 my hard drive model is st310014a and its locked... dash version : 0.38.0515a build 565.. ya and um if anybody could help me get more space on my hard drive that could help also cause i only have a bit less than 4 G and i havent put a game on my hard drive or anything yet ive just installed 2 emulators 30 or so roms and i have about 40 songs on it too...
I would like to install xbmc as well. I keep hearing to install it in the e:/apps folder, but I do not have this folder on my E: drive. Installed SID 5 with the Evox dash that was included. How do I get the E:/ folder or is there another option. Thanks for the help.....

um i insalled my xbmc and it installed it part spanish part english and as an app not a dash... anything i could do?

Hey Clleavage,
You box is softmodded like some of mine. If you used Krazyies, you should have an E:\Dashboard folder.
Launch a progrom like DVD2XBOX (if the network setting are turned off, go into the options and turn on FTP access). Now that you are into DVD2XBOX, FTP to your XBOX and browse to the dashboard folder. Delete everything that is in there and upload all the files within the XBMC folder. Do not upload the XBMC folder, just its contents.
it loads the normal xbox movie n then the screen goes black and it does a kind of loading thing (you dont see the loading you just know it loaded xbmc or sumthing) but then the screen stays black and i cant fxp to it or anything...
