whats the difference between the 94 and 96?? i knew someone who modified there own.. but i had a good friend with a 4wd tracker around that year.. there not really made for "power" LOL yes it has 4wd but without lockers and some torque.. it could do some pretty good donuts though... _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:

My advice to you.... Roll it down a hill. Geo trackers really built for power. If you want something to go offroading in A 70's jeep cj7 with a chevy 350 or 383 has plenty of power. If your really stuck on the geo though you should really look into a new engine for it. I'm not very familiar with the geo engine and trans but I'm willing to bet its a weak 4banger. I bet you can get something more powerful crammed under the hood, possibly a 6 cyl. I dont really know of anything else you can do for it besides maybe an intake, exhaust, and a header. _________________

what kind of engine is in it? You can probobly find a bigger throttle body, a higher compression head, exhaust, and intake. If you're still having trouble finding a cold air intake, all you really need is some kind of tubing (PVC pipe works great) and a cone air filter. Thats all a cold air intake is anyway. If you really want to make something nice, you can make a box for the cone filter out of plexyglass. I'm willing to bet you'll find a "custom" cold air intake like this on ebay. You can easily make this for like 20-50 bucks US. If you plan on doing any offroading though, make sure you mount it high to avoid water/dirt getting in there. _________________

4cyl like highe compression. I had a little Fiero 2m4 with a 2.5 liter 4 cyl and with a bigger throttle body and higher compression head I was spanking Hondas all night. Tires are key too. _________________

hey guys..got to thinking about that custom intake and it dawned on me that i could change out the stock air box for a high performance one so i picked up the off-road and racing series of K&N air filters and installed it....looks pretty good, noticeable difference in power, and it sounds better when u get on it...i think ill try a flowmaster exhaust system next,,what u guys think? (thanx for all help and advice in advance) i would have had pics up of the intake by now but they're too big to send through messaging (took em with my phone) so ill have to whip out the digital lol thanks guys

You should get a cherrybomb. Its alot cheaper than a flowmaster. Plus flowmasters only really sound good on v8s and v6s. _________________

Flowmaster is performance, not a cherry bomb which makes your car sound like your trying to make it sound like something.. and its not, kinda like a fart can on a Honda.. _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:

haha im not too sure yet what kind...he's right though, flowmasters usually only sound good on bigger engines but i agree i dont want it to sound like some fart can honda exhaust either...my cousin has a 4cyl. s-10 and he put Flowtech exhaust on his and his sounds like a v6...i also work with a guy that said if i really wanted some power i should by a new block for it and just build the shit out of it lol i dont want it to be some "bolt on wonder" lol

Cherrybombs arn't the coffee can exhaust your thinking of.... It's a straight through, fiberglass packed resonator. My buddy had them on his 6.6 litter smallblock and it sounds like a straightpipe basicly. _________________

Yeah... I feel you on that one. You may be better off just using a quieter muffler. Cops can be a real pain. I used to have a Grand Prix and they gave me a ticket for having a loud muffler when in reality I had stock mufflers. Then again they just needed proboble cause to pull me over for that bogus illegal search, seizure, and arrest. Damn the man _________________
