I've got a Executer 2 chipped xbox and I've bought a new 250 GB HD.

My current setup is:

Bios: (256)X2 4974
Kernel: 1.00.4974.01

My current bios doesn't support a 250 GB HD.

I've found these bioses on the AID 3.1 CD:

x2.5035.v16plus.bin
x2.5035.v16plus.137.bin
x2.5035.bin
x2.5035.137.bin

I've tried putting x2.5035.bin onto the xbox, folder "bios" then I've tried flashing using evox but I got this error

Flash BIOS
Manufacturers ID bf Device ID 61
Flash Type SST - 49LF020
Error file size error

I assume that I'm using the wrong bios. How do I know which one to use? Also, do I need to patch the bios before I use it?

I've now taken a close look at the chip. It says "sst 49lf020" on the front. What kind of chip is that and what bios should I use?

The chip is a matrix lite.
