im tring to softmod a xbox that has an upgraded hdd but it loads up through the ms dash like it never been softmodded the game im using is splinter cell NTSC and when i load the gamesave it gives me error 21 for some reason i dont know plz help

Hhen you make a new HDD it will start up as new unsoftmodded...
can you be a little clearer of what you are doing and what's happening..

ok first i ftp my drives to my computer from my sofmodded box and burnt to a disc and put in the hdd that i want to upgrade and then i formatted it and moved the c and e drive to the hdd and then locked it i put it in my xbox and powered it up and it loaded to the MS dash then i tried to resoftmod it with splinter cell and i loaded the gamesave and then it gave me error 21 i tried mech assault and it woudnt load but the original game that i used at the begining is at my friends we cant talk at all though if there is a certain serial # i need on the game do you know
ps so everytime you upgrade the hdd it goes original again right?
