Post subject: Using trainer in XMBC

How do I do it?

I boot up to the XMBC dash.
Then go to the trainers option.
Then go to the game trainer I want(forza)
Then select the options I want enabled.
Then select save and exit

Then I went back to the main menu and put forza in. I selected the option to boot from the DVD/Media.

This works, it goes to the option where I select Forza or Arcade.

I select Forza. Then it goes to the Xbox logo and just stops.

Is this the proper process for using the trainers in the first place? Or do I have to do something else first/different?

What would cause it to pause at the Xbox logo?

Thanks for your help

Sorry, it wasn't XMBC, it was Evo-X dashboard.

That's the one that comes with the trainers installed by default, correct?

Anyways, what application is it that I need to install to get the trainers for the XMBC dash?

That explains it then lol, Install the Xored Trainer Engine, It works better than the built in one for evox.

Ok, I installed the trainer.

Then I went into programs and selected the trainer.

Then I proceeded to load the Forza disc.

It read the disk and recognized it as "CDX"

There's no CDX on the list.

So I went to the only Forza trainer.

The problem is that this one is for Forza Pal +4

I have no idea what this is. I tried enabling the option I wanted then hit the start button, or the one next to it, and Forza loaded.

This time i didn't get the freeze at the Xbox screen(yey!)

But it didn't apply the cheat!

Does the saved game have to be on a certain drive? Or does it only work if the game is on the hard drive?

Thanks for the help

In order for the trainer to work, it has to be in the same format as the game. eg. NTSC or PAL. Most likely since you live in the US it should be NTSC. So just look around for a NTSC trainer for Forza, copy it into your trainers folder. Everything else you've done is correct.
