I know about XBMC and all that jazz but is there away to enable the xbox dvd player with out me buying the stupid over priced remote. I remember it let me watch a few dvds but after like 2 movies it started coming up with the add that a needed to buy the remote is there away that I can watch movies agien with out buying the remote? I have a soft modded xbox with EvoX on it.

well yeah but lets say for XBMC you have to go to apps, then go to XBMC, then go to lunch video, then go to the d drive.... with the xbox dvd player all you have to do is run dvd.... when i do that it says i need a remote is there anyway to bypass that?

What dashboard are you launching from? When I use unleashx you can change the default app for DVDs to DVDX, and that automatically starts playing and can use the controller _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Im using EvoX never tried anything else

didnt work i got the same annoying message "you need tp connect the dvd play back kit receiver to a controller port to watch movies. remove the disk to countinue" micro$oft saying they want me to buy there shitty remote....
