Ok so i bought an X3 chip, and now i am buying an Xbox X-tender to upgrade myself a bit. But the manual though simple is kinda confusing.. It says "if you don't have Pc Bioxx or Nitroxx you don't need to solder this cable
If you have a 1.6 Console see the solder points below:" Well i am running a 1.1, so what do i need to do? Do i need to solder these wires or not? If anyone could walk me through the X-tender installation process and hard drive installing with the X-tender i would appreciate it alot

If you got a 1.1 then this should help you see the few points that do need solder.

Ok cool. When i purchased it i had no idea it needed soldering. But it should be here in a couple of days and then i find out it does. So as soon as it gets here i will let you know how it goes. Thanks once again Wes

No prob bro and good luck, the solder point on the back of the eject looks simple but the 2 small points on the main board look like a real pain in the @$$.
Take your time and let me know.
