Ok so i bought an X3 chip, and now i am buying an Xbox X-tender to upgrade myself a bit. But the manual though simple is kinda confusing.. It says "if you don't have Pc Bioxx or Nitroxx you don't need to solder this cable
If you have a 1.6 Console see the solder points below:" Well i am running a 1.1, so what do i need to do? Do i need to solder these wires or not? If anyone could walk me through the X-tender installation process and hard drive installing with the X-tender i would appreciate it alot Smile

If you got a 1.1 then this should help you see the few points that do need solder.

No prob bro and good luck, the solder point on the back of the eject looks simple but the 2 small points on the main board look like a real pain in the @$$.

Take your time and let me know. Very Happy
