This is by far the best source of info anywhere. I just wish I could do what you do. But everyone here helps out, that I am learning slowly.
My only fear is that M$ will stop making the original xbox. I should have got one sooner.

I think they will still make them for a while yet. If you recall when the PS2 came out, they were still making PSone's as well as plenty of game titles.
I'm not trying to set a deadline or anything, but I feel the Xbox 1 will be safe until atleast 2008-2010. Just make sure you get one before then hehe.

I know when that dreaded day comes when they announce they no longer will be making them, that the "street" value of them will rocket up.
At least for those of us who know about modding.
