when trying to watch a dvd from a disc on my xbox with xbmc, the sound went slower than the movie so that if someones mouth moved on the video, it would take another 3 seconds or whatever it was for them to say it, so it was running slow for some reason. would this be a problem with my version of xbmc?

It could be, have you updated to the latest version?
There was also options for delaying or advancing the audio from the video, I think you have to press the right thumbstick.
i had a look at the audio options for it and still couldnt fix it. its not the latest version, i want to update but last time i tried screwing around with the dashboard i got a fatal error and it took me 3 hours to fix... whats the easiest way to update?

Well, the easiest way to update is find the newest version of XBMC. Unrar what you download. Then clear your xbmc files and gamesaves from your harddrive. Ftp the newest version where the last one was located and you're DONE! Make sure you delete the files, then ftp the new version, also delete the gamesaves. However, i still recommend using the one from AID 3.04 Disc, it works awesome! _________________

installing the one from the AID 3.04 disc was what gave me the fatal error in the first place. when i got my xbox modded and a larger hard drive put in the guy who did it put xmbc as the dash and he put it on C drive, so all of the files for xbmc are on C

oh, ic. I recommend you use a x2 "config live" bios, it will load the dash from whatever directory you wish. Install it from AID. Then, find the "x2 config maker" program for your pc, and point the first dash to where your dash is located. If you use AID, it will be in the E or F drive. There should be a "evoxdash.xbe" wherever you installed it from AID. Make sure to point it to this file. It should work well. _________________
