whats up guys, i just moded my xbox 1.6 with the smartxx v3
and now have no clue what im doing. im trying to get the evoX m8 to work and m not having to much luck with it. i know smartxx v3 has its on OS but my friend said evox is easier to work with.
any help?

You can download AID 3.0 to help you finish your install. just as a side not I wouldnt use evox i would probaly go with unleash-x.

The m8 bios is ok, how are you trying to flash it? Did it come with flashbios pre-flashed to the chip?

I think you are confusing M8 (bios) with Evox (dashboard).
Yes, you are correct though about the OS on the SmartXX V3 mod chip. I haven't seen this OS yet, but if it's anything like the V2 OS you are in good hands.
You have a few methods to flash your chip with the M8 bios. You can flash from the Xbox HD if you have a way to pop the bios on there, you can create a bios disk, or the method I prefer is flashing via a web browser (HTTP).
If you dont have a network setup, the HTTP flash isn't for you. If that is the case, I recommend creating a bios disk using a DVD-R disk (a lot more success than just using a CDRW).
I use Nero Burning Rom to create my iso. I use a bunch of MP3s for my dummy file(s). Then create the iso bios disk.
There are quite a few tutorials laying around to better assist you with this. If you cannot find, please let us know.
Once you have your chip flashed, now you can pop Evox Dashboard on your HD using AID (auto installer deluxe). Evox dash will allow you to launch your other apps, emulators, etc... Remember, the bios resides on the chip, the dashboard resides on your hard drive.

so i downloaded AID 3.
and couldnt figure out why it wasnt reading in my xbox, then it hit me, i was running original bios on my smartxx os. so i run the m8 bios and tada, i have everything well in hand now.
