Dude, you have the link to the hotswap in your signatre. See how XBHDM 1.9 is in a different color in the tut? That's a link to the XBHDM download page. It comes with tutorials and such, and Pirrup's tutorial explains exactly what to do. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

Can't you just copy it like you would any normal xbox game??
Just FTP the Disc over to you PC HDD then use Qwix to burn it into an Xbox Image.
P.S. I know nothing about the hotswap installer disc. Is it a disc made with xboxhdm that has Modded files in the C drive?
I am pretty sure you just need the modded C drive files.
Why would someone want to do a soft mod through Hotswapping? It is much easier to do it with game saves and safer. I screwed up my old xbox HDD trying to hot swap after something happened to the dahsboard.

Yeah I had that Xboxhd program but I couldn't get the xbox hardrive to unlock. It was my first mod so I didn't know about eeprom and HDD keys and stuff. Now I have all that stuff backed up to my PC HDD (new v1.6 xbox)
I think it was my computer because I tried to hotswap over 50 times and I followed the guide then tried doing it at diffrent times and I could not get it to go.

I don't know if it changes from box to box, but I've had an easier time hotswapping for a seagate by listening to the clicks from the drive, where WD's I was able to use the DVD ide trick. _________________
