I bought an aladdin XT thinking alright now i won't have to sit and wait for my softmod to take forever to load i can just hold the power button down. WRONG i was. As of tonight i have flashed it with 6 different bios's none that have been compatible with my 1.6B xbox. Yeah i'm getting sick of waiting 9 hours for my modchip to flash getting all ready plugging it back into my xbox quickly push the power button to see the stock bios boot up then the moment of truth I hold the power button in and then...........................BLANK SCREEN!!! Ahh this is pissing me off. If anyone has a 1.6B xbox and a modchip that works PLEASE EMAIL ME!!!
I need a 256k bios. And if you don't have a 1.6B xbox but know of a compatable bios please reply or email me. And if you don't know any of that please reply and tell me how hard it was for you to find a compatable bios for your xbox.

Just try the Evox M8 bios. It works for Alladins I believe. _________________ Moddingbandit

Yes, there is a 256k M8 plus bios that will work for you. Unfortunately, I have always found a lot of ppl having issues with the particular chip you decided to purchase. Now don't get me wrong, the chip works fine and many ppl have got it working flawlessly.
I just think that the 4th gen chips that cost a little more like the SmartXX LT OPX (around $25), the XChanger V2.5 ($20) and then your more elite 4th gen chips like Xenium Ice, SmartXX V3, X3 CE ($45 to $60) are just much easier to flash and seem to be a bit more stable for beginners.
Unfortunately, I have neve bothered to purchase an Aladdin chip so I can't really give you much advice on why you are having problems. But, I can tell you for sure that you can use the M8 plus bios on 1.6b mobo's.
Check your email that you provided. I sent you the proper bios that you need. If you wish to thank me, please at some point just make a donation to this site and become a VIP (that is if you already havent, I didn't check your membership status). As a VIP you have easy access to all of the files you could possilby ever need via HTTP download....very NICE! You also have access to VIP ticketing and you can ask questions and get fast responses from moderators/admins.

Do take note, that once you have your chip flashed you still have to install your hacked dashboards and applications. Installing and flashing the chip is just the beginning of your mod. everything you need is in the VIP area..
get the EVOX M8 bios there are 2 of them..
1 is for xbox versions 1.0-v1.5 and the other is for 1.6 only.
you want that one..
btw.. Once you get your modchip flashed you will know exactly why you have bought a modchip... You wont have any issues again if you leave it flashed..
You can upgrade to a larger hdd just by installing it and booting AIDELUXE.. You cant do that with a softmod thats for sure.
