I am having a problem "NTLDR Missing" after i have unlocked a HDD using the hotswap technique, this happens at the step after you have unlocked it and swapped the IDE Cable from the Xbox one to the PC one, after i have hit space to unpause my paused pc, the disc i made is ok as it worked before and still worked when i NEARLY turned an 80gig HD (my pc one) into an xbox HD by accident...LOL!!!!! i already have a softmodded stock drive in my xbox, i have recovered THAT one before as my son wiped a load of files whilst messing with my Xbox, so i am familiar with the technique,i do not have the tools to FTP and im desperate to install a bigger hard drive.
So "NTLDR Missing" anybody got a clue?
Please help
thanks _________________ Pal Crystal Xbox V1.6

check you havent left a floppy disk in the drive other wise you'll get NTLDR missing
when you boot XP/2000/NT4 it loads NTLDR to access the disk file system to read the boot.ini,etc. Once the boot partition is found NTOSKERNEL loads and boots the OS kernel. It could be the boot sector is screwed (by hotswapping the disks) in which case you'll need to try a repair using the boot CD (the boot sector points NTLDR as its the first part to load)
