i start my xbox (xenium gold menu) load evox m8 dash and when i put in the aid cd it just gets stuck on the screen with the big xbox logo and says AID 3.0 at the bottom..... any idea why???????????

Try clearing your cache space from the xenium OS. Under setiings>Disk settings>clear cache.

If the cache clearing doesn't help...

Are you using a brand new HD that has not been formatted yet?

I have had that happen to me a couple times. If so, format the drive and then reboot the installer.

Do you have any problems booting any other disks, like game disks??

im using the original hdd ill go clear the cache real quick... back in a few.. and i get error 16 if i dont boot the aid dvd (clocksetting error) and i dont wanna format the hdd unless theres some way to backup my saves

ok got it to work... my guess is it was a bad hdd... i upgraded to a 40 i had lying in the floor... works fine now.. YAY
