my xbox media center play the video for awhile then skips as if the dvd is scratched but its playing a backup that was saved on my hdd.Is there another media player that allows you to play videos off hdd

i believe that is a problem with the old codec's. You may want to update to a newer version.

first the one on aid came with was doing it so i upgraded to 6-6-06 version and its doing it worse now.

now im starting to think its my xbox now bcuz first it takes longer to boot up now.second i have unleash sowhen i switch my music 2 much my dash freezes and i have to manually turn it off and back on.i cleared e cache x,y,z drives.Anything else im forgetting to do.oh my games load and play perfect,i have a 250gig seagate
