I have a V1.6 xbox and a xecuter 2.6 lite chip and trying to use X2bm.V23 to flash m8plus_16 bois onto the chip. everything goes fines with the programing part but when I put the xbox back together it reboots 3 times then flashes red and green. This xbox was modded before and working but I think it tried to update itself through the web and hasn't worked since. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure your chip is perfectly in place. If not it wont work. Mine did the same thing and it was bc I had it loosely on there. Hold it firmly when you turn it on. _________________ Moddingbandit

Sorry I forgot to mention that I have to xboxs doing the same thing. I don't thimk its loose becuase I have this several time with differnt bios's i've gotten. it just seems like i'm not flashing it right. i did notice that ever time I tried to put a dummy file into the X2bm software it forze up on me and stopped responding and i always had to ctl,alt,dlt and start from scratch. the xboxs are the same versuions and have the same chip in them.

lol dude you dont need to put a dummy file in the X2bm. If you are using the programmer right, which you have to just put the flash protect off and the bios you want on it. Then just choose flash. You dont use dummy files on the programmer and x2bm _________________ Moddingbandit

I tried the X2 5035 512K but it didn't work. I think i'm missing something like the team xecuter tut. they have A flahbios in the first 2 banks and then the bios. I just put the 5035 bios in all 4 banks I think that my mistake right? if so i do I build the falshbios part.
