You can always use a can of pressurized air to blow the dust off, or Maxell sells a good lens claener that actually has Xbox on the packaging. That's what I use. _________________

Not right on it.. You hit the sides of the tray and the air will flow past the lens. _________________

why not buy a new drive you can find a thompson drive sometimes for cheap I got tired of cleaning mine and bought another drive cause cleaning it only seemed to work for so long. and if you tweak it its not going to last forever.

wow thanks alot hellblazer this is what i was looking for so basicly i have to get the muti meter and test on that scuare to get the amount of number and i change this number by carefuy messing with the screw thats under it ?
Quote:
Now adjust this screw counterclockwise until it reads a lower number (suggest 100 unit increments). A little goes a long way in adjusting this screw. After each change completely re-assemble and test the drive. Repeat until the drive starts working or you reach 800. If it still does not work at 800 get a new drive.
and i can pratice on a thompson that doesnt work
