hello hello 1st softmod not going well. I'm using splinter cell exploint on a ntsc xbox with the ntsc exploit file using softmod inteller deluxe Nknave 4.5 I can get out of the error 22, by putting splinter cell in, after turning the xbox off, and then i can uninstall the mod and have a perfectly working xbox. the backup install of the ms dash doesnt work at the erorr 22 after pressing 'A'. Probably my fault for trying to softmod with 3.1 Final unsuccessfully before trying 4.5. However, I think the problem I'm asking here is strictly concerning 4.5 and the rename bug found in the sticky on problems with 4.5. About the dashboard being incorrectly named or placed? Can i ftp from the error 22 menu to fix this problem? AiD 3 doesnt work when i put it in(used nero and burnt the iso on as a data disc on cd-rw, didnt wanna waste a dvd-r((thats fine isnt?)) help... anyone...

it would extract some stuff. the backup msbasgboard i assume, but my backup was modded (or so it says but maybe true) so then it restarts and goes back to the error 22. I fixed it however. I got AiD 3.0 working. What was really giving me all the problems was the auto installers softmod and aid telliong me to restart the box after i modded it instead of letting me know i needed to make another backup of my eeprom. After I saw that on a forum just by chance, I was all good modded up with roms and skins galore. now, i just gotta figure out why my backup of psychonauts isnt working. thanks for the reply This case is [SOLVED]
