Hello all,
Ok, Iam kinda new at this stuff, unfortunately, but I am willing to learn as much as I can.
What I need help with is
Editing game data for the XBOX Action Replay
Finding the 'Right' software/Freeware that can/will help me do this
Ok for starters, I've been trying to Edit a few of my games from saves on my memory card(s) and then transfering them back onto the memory card via the AR USB cable, but so far it's a no go . Everytime that I edit a paticular game save and try to upload it onto the memory card (Via AR) an error pops up ~ ERROR: This is not a Valid XBOX save ~ I've tried EVERYTHING that I can think of...
This is what I've done so far:
Downloaded Save from codejunkies.com
Unzipped File
Opened 'Profile' file with text editor
Edited what I wanted
Saved file (Saves as 'FILE')
Zipped file
Try to Upload file(s)
Unfortunately this is where the progress STOPS!!
Can someone Please tell me what I am doing wrong, or point me in the right direction of some software/freeware that I can use to upload my files correctly?

probably has something to do with editing game data, you dont need to edit them just leave them as is. Are you attempting to softmod and xbox? _________________

Not attempting to softmod, I just want to edit some game data, so as I can have a better weapon/ life.... etc... You know what I mean? thnx

oh, heh i dont think that will work, I would use trainers, you can get the Xored Trainer Engine and download some trainers if you want stuff like that. _________________

master_dragon changing gamesaves i believe will do nothing except say invald xbox game save...its because alot of gamesaves have a certian xbox signature in them...anyways for example HALO2....about 97% of modding in this game is done to the maps not the profile or game type saves on your xbox...in other words u actually have to mod the game itself not the save.... hope this helps

yes trainers work great...but they are useless without anytype of xbox mod
