i made my new xboxhd with my eeprom in it....but when i select boot to vga it starts but then the screen flickers and it reboots....any ideas why this would happen? i cant get to the type xboxhd part..... _________________

anybody???this is drivin me crazy lol....probably something simple too....i just tried again but with my first xboxhd disc since thats how i originally softmodded my xbox so i know the disc works....and same thing shows the main screen with the options but when i select boot to vga it starts than all of a sudden reboots... _________________

ok thanks...i used nero cause i useed it to make my hotswap/sid4 install disc and it worked....ill try dvd decrypter than....ill still have the old pc problem though right? _________________

ok thanks....ive installed it but im thinkin....i cant use this with a cd burner can i? is there no way to use nero? it burned my original xboxhd/sid4 hotswap disc that i modded with _________________

I burnt mine with Nero 6 and it worked fine. Does your bios correctly detect the drive? Could be a bent pin on the drive that the IDE cable is not connecting properly. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

yes it detects the drive and everything...imma try it again with the one i burnt with dvd decrypter although i dont see a difference it still has "rr moved" files... _________________

cabbot ? is that u? havin issues makin hds???? k well the screen flicer can be the video card... and that u have the xboxhdm1.9 curpt... so what i would do is .... download a fresh new copy of xhdm1.9 get non scratch disc.... burn them right nero or w/e ... i always used nero... then go to anoter pc.... make sure it boots to cd drive first... and try it all again on anoter pc ..... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

ive already made 2 discs...i just have to wait til i can use another pc...im not really havin issues...lol...smartass...my pc is just mad old... _________________
