Lo all,
I was wondering, is there a site that offers XBox patches to fix bad releases? I've been having trouble with certain ones, most lately with Iny Car Series DNL release. It's making coasters whenever I use Craxtion to try to extract the iso.
I know you can use DVD2XBox, but again, I have the iso on my comp, so I guess it doesn't help much.

There could be a couple of things going on here. First and formost is that chances are you have a bad iso. This happens a lot when people download them or even make them themselves. YOu can recreate the iso, or redownload it.
It the case of patches, I dont know of any site that carries patches in their downloads section. The best placew to find them from what I've heard is on Direct connect.
Good luck _________________ XBOX v1.0:

hey SOLE2000,
Well.. you should be able to extract the XISO to your PC HDD and check out the files.. Make sure there is a default.xbe file in the root of the ISO..
It may be a media problem. Have you tried burning the ISO to a different brand of DVD-R/CDRW?? You will find most xboxes only like a particular brand of media.
Thanks guys for the advise. As for what you've mentioned:
1. The iso is comprised of rar files (DNL release) and I used SFV checker to assure integrity, so that apparently isn't the problem. I've also seen on some boards that this game has some sort of problem, but it hasn't been nuked, so who knows...
2. Media is Ritek burning at 1x. It's the only media I've used on my XBox, and about 100 DVD's burned to date with no problem. I tried DVD2XBox to extract the disc (I checked and it does have the default-xbe in the root) and it gives an error about 11% into the extraction. I've been thinking about extracting to a DVD RW into a folder and using ftp to transfer to my xbox (will work as long as the default.xbe file isn't in the root directory)
3. Would you recommend a channel for direct connect? Tried looking in plexhub.dynip.com and couldn't find anything. Heard the fix was one usenet, but don't have axx.
Thanks again guys for everything. If you can give any more ideas, would appreciate it.
