I was trying to figure out how to burn xbox games and I accidently erased my Chip. I cant turn the chip to the dashboard menu or anything! Can somebody tell me how to fix my problem?

Whoa, crazy, you ERASED your chip!?! haha, just giving you grief. Well, I'm assuming you never HAD a chip, you had a softmod and you erased some files needed for it.
We're gonna need a little more info on what kind of box/dash/bios/etc. you had to properly help you fix your problem. Post some more DETAILED info and someone will help you pronto. _________________ XBOX v1.6c

Im not exactly sure what kind of anything i had. Im a newbie and I got it done about a 2 years ago by a friend. Can u tell me how 2 find out the information? I also cant talk 2 my friend to find out info!

So you definately know theres a chip in the xbox or you think theres a chip? Gotta make sure this is clear so we can determine your problem, if your not sure you may have to check inside your xbox. _________________

there is definately a modchip inside the xbox. this is cuz the xbox has blue lites in it and has buttons on the side. can u still help thanks

Simple way to find out... OPEN YOUR BOX, lift the DVD drive (you'll probably have to remove the HDD, just remove the power cable and lift the trays). Look at the chip, if it isn't named (which it should be) just tell us what it looks like, then we can help you. That simple. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
