Hey guys, im trying to fix a friends xbox and mod it. When i load Agent under fire and then load the exploit from the hd the screen goes blank like normal ... and then i get error 21. I tried it many times but got the same error each time in exactly the same spot. Any ideas?

Are you sure that you have the linux game save for 007 and the S.I.D. file? When I first learned how to softmod that was my problem.

Yeah i think something may have happened to it, my room mate was playing around with the xbox and ive noticed a few things now that arent the way they should be. Soooo what im going to try to do is put the game save and exploit back on ... however i dont have the ar anymore.
I dont suppose someone could post how to ftp the new exploit to the hd so i can copy it to the mem card could you? I know i saw the steps to do it but i cant find it now.

Sounds like you didnt have a hacked dashboard installed..

I got the same problem... have got the xploits to the xbox HDD and have tried the softmodding route with both splinter cell and mech assault... both bring up error 21... please help. im at my witts end with it at the mo

if your getting ERROR 21 then it means you are missing a DASHBOARD on your xbox hdd.
Use AIDELUXE to reinstall a dashboard and then reboot your xbox.
If you are using a SOFTMOD make sure you install a SOFTMOD DASHBOARD..

i dont think i will be able to boot AIDeluxe as the xbox is completely standard at the moment ( i.e im trying to softmod it!). The MS dash is there when i boot the console so i know it has a dash of some sort.... any ideas ???

If you have a modded box nearby.. Just insert a MEMORY CARD and then ftp into the modded xbox and copy of the files using FTP..
Its no different then transfering to the HDD.. A new drive letter will come up when you have the MEMORY CARD inserted.
Apart from that you will need to start the entire softmod process again.
Since the xbox your trying to mod has errors you will not be able to transfer the files to the hdd anyway.. You may need to USE pirrups HOTSWAP TUTORIAL to recover.. Check for it in our tutorials section here:
