alright my hdd blew. got chip. installed it. then flashed bios x2-5035 got new hdd placed it in xbox. then it said unlesh has detected a new hard drive press r/l+start to format. did that used aid3 to install dashboard/apps/emu.
every thing was fine would always boot to unlesh even know i installed aniodx on f:/ i could go to filemanager and boot aniodx but it was called evox.xbe
flashed eeprom with virgin eeprom. rebooted unlesh boots up ok. turn chip off error 16. then like a dumb ass i ftp to xbox notice evox.xbe and 2 .xml files in c:/ ftp them to my computer and then deleted them off the xbox.reboot xbox ms dash chip on. shit boot with chip off error 16 damit. so do i have to redue everything or is there a easyer way?
i think i should of used aid to format and prepare hdd and then installed everything but i just used the bios and thats why i think it was only booting to unlesh every time. whats suposed to to be in the c:/ ?
i thought only the xbox defult stuff in was to be in c:/ to go online. is it okay to have a hacked dash in it? i thought thats why i was getting error 16, when trying to boot with chip off. please help me its like one problem after another and i think im so close to having a duel boot xbox. i think anyway just wont to play online please replie.

If I understand what your saying here, no , you cannot run ANY form of mod on xbox live, hacked dash/bios, softmod, backup games, etc.
Running any form of mod on Xbox Live will get you banned. _________________

If you plan on going on live with a chip, you need to have your C drive looking standard and pristine. You can still have modded files in E, F, G, Z, B, 32, H, A, whatever's available, but C must be pristine. NO, this does not mean you can go on live with your chip ON. You must be booting retail with the chip off.
The MSDash is only programmed to read M$ signed files, so if the C drive looks fine, it won't bother with E or F or any other drive, even if you have a larger drive (hense why the X2.6 is so great).
YES use AID to do almost all of your installs. Hacking and installing VIA ftp is now needless since AID has become so powerful (THANK YOU DJB!). So, since you have a wonderful chip, follow these steps to have a wonderfully modded box.
1. With the chip on, boot the xbox with AID in the drive.
2. When AID loads, choose file manager, open up the C drive and wipe EVERYTHING.
3. WITHOUT REBOOTING, go back to the main menu, and choose "Install MSDash 5960" there's no other options associated, this will just leave you with a clean C partition.
4. Choose Install Dashboards from the main menu.
5. Chose E drive dashboards and install the one of your choice.
5. Reboot.
If your screen boots MSDash with your chip on, you'll have to use a Bios editor to configure the bios to boot E drive before C. Just google "Xecuter 5035 Bios Editor" You should find the right program. It will take a while to install if you don't have the newest .NET microsoft framework, but it's worth it.
If you're really cool... or just a showoff, you can manually edit the .ini file that should beon your E drive to make the BIOS do what you want... but just try the PC editor, you'll have to reflash your Chip (maybe). _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
