Hi,
I think I properly recovered my XBOX and I have the softmod booting up from the "E" folder using "evoxdash.xbe" and I can get to the MS dashboard from the menu no problem.
The problem I think I have but I'm not totally sure is that I have "evoxdash.xbe", "msdash.xbe" and "xboxdash.xbe" all sitting in the "C" folder and I am worried that something bad is going to happen if I should have to ever unplug my xbox for more then 4 hours.
Can you please let me know if this is alrigh!!

P.S. I did not create a backup of the MS dashboard as it was corrupt before I had started re-installing everything back to retail and I got an error 22 message which I assume I would have gone wrong somewhere and I didn't have a proper MS dashboard 5960.

If you used SID 4 (the only SID I am personally familiar with) the mod prevents the crash in the event of power failure or disconnect lasting beyond the life of the internal battery.

Even though you install the EvoX dash in e: it will place executables into c:.
Softmods first boot to the c: partition then gets redirected to the e: patition. So, the files you see and kind of like short cuts or redirectors. The actuall "elements" of EvoX are on e:.

Hi,
I unplugged the xbox after I got rid of the error 22 and the next morning it would just load up to a black screen but it would still load up retail games.
I went back to the XED disc and apperently I had made one wrong choice the first time but now everything is corrected and now I am running my xbox again!!

yo i would suggest taking off all softmods and re install ms dash 5960 and then put sid4 and move on .. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
