hello i new to this forum but i need help with my modded xbox..
I modded my xbox with the Xecuter 3Ce modchip. I able to use my normal Microsoft bios and play regular Xbox games but when i try to switch to my Xecuter bios it powers on and off three times then it gives me a blank screen and my eject button blinks red and green. I think it could be either the bios or the modchip(soldering). If there is a way that someone could help me or know anything i would be truly appreciative. Any input would help me so post as much as you want. I can access the blue bios screen and it tells me the all the data such as hard drive and Samsung DVD Drive. It will also allow me to load other bios on there.
please help
the bios was pre-flashed with xecuter FlashBIOS 3.0.1, also is it possible to load another bios on there even though the chip was pre-flashed with Xecuter bios.
what steps should i go about checking it without damaging it further...(should i check the chip first) or (should i try to install a new bios to see if that's the problem then check the the modchip)... if you guys have a better way to go about it please feel free to let me know because anything can help at this time....

Hi eagle24501 and welcome to HQ..
Ok.. It sounds to me like you havent flashed your new modchip with a hacked bios.. Most modchips DO NOT come with a hacked bios..
So, What you want to do is read up on how to flash your modchip.. You can flash via webbrowser from your pc or via DVDROM/CDRW i believe.
I would suggest the EVOX M8 bios to be flashed or any other X3 bios which is in our VIP DOWNLOADS area..
Once you get your modchip flashed you can thenn boot a Auto Installer like auto installer Deluxe (http://www.aideluxe.com) and it will isntall whatever you like including: dashboards, emulators or apps.

I assume that you had installed a bios other than M$ on the chip in another bank. The blinking red and green is known as a frag.
I would think it's the soldering job and something isn't seated right.
Your XBox powers on and off three times and FRAGs (flashing-red-and-green) with no video and no sound.
Solution:
Something is preventing your BIOS from loading.
Possibilities are that the modchip is loose or any other modchip related problem.
Try reprogramming the modchip or check all connections of the modchip. When checking the (wire) connections of the modchip do note that sometimes when the XBox is being re-assembled some component might push a wire onto another metal component which causes a permanent short (or something else, like solder-flakes?, causes shorts). _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

i always thought that the X3 chip came pre-flashed
anyways, make sure you flash the X3 bios in it.
