in my search of knowlage of the xbox i have discovered water cooling and i know lots of you pros and newbies out there know to but what you guys think is water cooling really nessesary? i mean some sites make it sound like watercooling is required pratically my questions are
>do u guys think watercooling is smart?
>how can you fit all that junk in and xbox hd's and mod chips and water cooling pumps and tubes and wires and sounds complicated
>is watercooling safe what if a tube slips off the pump and water splats everywhere?

Water cooling to me is superfluous. I guess if you are forced to put your machine in an area where there is zero ventilation, and you have a 300 GIG HD or higher, and your machine is on 24/7...then hey...water cooling is mans best friend.
We have so many members here with 200+ GiG HD's and from what feedback we have received, overheat is not an issue. I wouldn't even begin to understand how they can fit extra stuff in the case, unless of course they are using new case lids and chassis or something.

Yes, I saw that from there before. I would love to add extra HD's to my unit. I have found tutorials that allow hookups of up to 3 HD's.
