Good Idea, beacuse I have problems in my relatively small house. My laptop is on wireless and When I am at the opposite end of the house I have horrible to no reception. _________________ "Modding the world, one xbox at a time"

You'll probably kick mine, because I have been busy modding instead of playing. I need to actually play some games soon. _________________ "Modding the world, one xbox at a time"

ive been out of work for about 3 months but still busy as hell..
I run both http://xbox-hq.com and http://satellite--tv.info
and sometimes is hard to get time away from coding for the sites as the original phpnuke code had tonnes of errors etc..
If you are interested in satellite tv then come and join up and say hi.. We also have webgames their too..
Both sites started originally over 2 years ago but had to be moved from my australian based ASP server in Newcastle, NSW to the States due to the high bandwidth we were using.. I was getting bills everymonth for $400 dollars for excess bandwidth.. So i had to spend 1 full month (7 days a week) porting all the sites over to a php based server..
We did lose alot of memebr info and posts (over 5000 posts in the forum) but we are still kicking and helping out newbies.
Now, as of Monday this week im back at work flat-out fulltime 6 days a week.. It is only contact work but will take up heaps of my time..
No matter how much work i have i always make myself post something at least once per day.. (thats all you have to do tooo..)
Just stay active so others who ask for advice know that they will receive a prompt reply..

Wow, forahobby, I didnt have a clue that these pages were costing you so much. I mean, theyre quality pages, but damn, thats a lot of cash. Once I get paid on the 10th I'm planning on joinning the ranks of VIP user. Do my part to help ya out a little bit.
And the whole unemployeed thing, I know how that goes to. ITs bad when you gotta scrap money together for classes.
I'll keep posting as often as possible too. Anyways, back to looking for some news and cheats.....

I have been working full time now for about five years, while trying to finish my degree. The only problem is, I'm in the Air National Guard and I was deployed about 9 months over the last two years. So I can never seem to finish my degree. I only need 16 more hours and I'll be done.
Forahobby, are you able to generate any revenue to help out with the site? _________________ "Modding the world, one xbox at a time"

Maybe we should be looking into bulk buys for our members.. I know of other sites in australia whos members get huge discounts as they pool there monies into one paypal and do a group buy..
If we buy stuff in a large qty.. We could say order one each for the normal price but pool it all together.. Then xbox-hq could buy them and also get a couple for prizes.. (just one of many ideas for raising money).
I have no ideas.. But our xskin sponsor is pretty cools though... Those skins are worth a fortune.. I would love to buy one myself but not for a while..
As for the site.. Its paid up for until may 2005.. heheh
So no worries on that aspect.. Actually if it wasnt for some of our cool trading members like Roadrash etc we wouldnt be here.. They all chipped in and payed for the hosting costs...
Now im back at work i will be topping up the hosting costs and trying to get the site to live forever for xboxer's...
Also, Anything you buy from clicking on a banner will go to hosting etc..
Easybuy2000.com/systemmods.com/xbox-wired.com are all setup to track where there consumers are coming from so it does help alot..
The vip area was just a idea so once we get enough in the kitty i can buy prizes so we can compete.. I like that idea as last month was hilarious to watch the fighting to get to no.1..
to come back to topic, its really easy to do you custom jewel
there are dozens of tutorials on how to do one, i ll try to give one for lazy ppl.
1) take out the jewel
2) get rid of the green paint.
there are several methods described in tutorials, i used scotch-brite with turned out to be not too much work to remove the paint and scratched the jewel much less than sand paper.
3) assemble a light kit of 5 led's of your favourite color
this is also really easy, you dont even solder experience for this, you could even do it without soldering, its not so advanced then though
4) cut out the shape you need of a cardboard, paint it black and glue it on the bottom of the jewel.
5) reassemble and you're done

Just went to http://satellite--tv.info, looks like you've been hacked - or Script kiddied to be more exact. Unless you support an indonesian Jihad?
Like you said, PHPNuke wil do it to ya every time...
