I just softmodded my box with AID 3, and I'm having a problem with XBMC. I had used it before using the AID 3 with no problem, but now when I load the application there is no text anywhere. Kinda hard to describe, but on the main menu and in all of the submenus, there are no labels, no text, no nothing. What is wrong, do I just need to replace the program with a different version of the Media Center? And how can get it to connect to the internet, the windows ICS is not working, although it worked before i modded

It sounds like you might have to reinstall it. After the reinstall use the AID 3.1 update to add the scripts. That should fix your problem. _________________

I didn't even notice.. Haven't had coffee yet. I notice you also have a VIP support ticket open. Just be patient, multiple posts will not get you an answer any faster. _________________

Hm, it sounds like there's a possible problem with the XBMC build put in 3.01
It was the PIMPED release, so I might go back to the T3CH release for the next version.

When you install XBMC from AID 3.01 (not 3.1 as this is to come out later down the track hehe) it will install everything for you, scripts, skins etc.
So, delete the old XBMC from your HDD and install this newer version (there's an option in AID which lets you uninstall apps).

That's ok.
It's just that it'll get confusing when AID 3.10 is actually relesaed, which I plan to bring out around the time that XBMC upgrades to v2.0.

A plugin for AID or XBMC ??
AID is using the UnleashX Dashbaord system as the code, so I can't change nothing on that.
If it's XBMC, that's something to do with their developers, which I have no control over.

I have seen that before on my own box (not using the auto-installer). The .xbe was overwritten on the C:. I deleted the XBMC folder on my F:\Apps directory but forgot to replace the XBE on the C:. Not sure if you are running this as your dash or not, but regardless, make sure the XBE file is getting updated. _________________ My Setup:
