He has a Xecuter 2.6ce that boots directly to the error screen. He has error 5 for unlocked HDD and 21 for M$ dash. I have searched for an hour and a half and still no answer. He only has 3 switches, flash protect, bank1 and bank 2.
How can we bypass the M$ dash and boot directly to the chip do that he can use AID. I've only done a few xecuter's so I'm no expert on them. The HDD that he is using was mine and was used with a xenium chip.
Please help him out, he's always here helping others.
I will keep on looking to see if I can find an answer for him. _________________

The harddrive he'snusing was mine. When I upgraded my hdd, I took that one out, but my Xenium chip did not lock it before I removed it. _________________

So then all he needs is a programmer? I asked him if he had one and he said he didn't order it. _________________

yeah all he needs is a programmer and just slip the bios on the chip and then he should be able to use the harddrive without any problems. _________________

I just spoke to him via aim. It looks like a bad solder job. I'm going to look at the post we have with modders and see if there is anyone in his area. _________________

He's on aim right now. You might want to contact him and see if he can get you a pic. I'm out now, gotta start closing the store. I'll be back on after 10pm when I get home. _________________

So does that go the same for the X3?
Is that why so many others are getting those errors also?
I was assuming that they had an OS you can boot to. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Yea, I think it was just a bad solder. I am pretty sure. I appreciate Enigmah helping me out like that. And Hellblazer too, for our countless nights trying to solve it. It is a bad solder I guess. So, I guess I will be sending it to a friend to have it fixed. I am hoping maybe sjohn can help me out since he is so close. _________________ Moddingbandit
