hey guys sorry posted a topic earlier but didn't see subject line. Alrighty first problem is every time I try toi get into file manager on avalaunch my xbox totally freezes andc have to reboot it. any ideas what is causing this. I am completely new to this and my buddy that soft modded this is a couple of hours away. the other prob is I was wondering if it would be possible to install a new bigger hard drive and just use the back-up disk to install the hd so I could have swapable hd's? thanks for all help in advance.

-=bump=-
Does anyone else know any other possible causes for this? I don't have internet at all at my apartment and my xbox knows not to connect to anything, and still freezes at File Manager. I also can't do anything related with Avalaunch (i.e. when I try to change the name of a game in my gamelist, etc.) directly, but I can use XBOX Media Center's File Manager.
I installed Avalaunch 0.49.3 from the AID 3.1 disc. Am I missing an important file for Avalaunch?
Also - I prepared my 250 gig HD with AID 3.1 and games load fine, I can see all of my space is accounted for, but the shortcut in Avalaunch to the MS Dash doesn't work (although I know the MS Dash does work because again I can get to it through Xbox Media Center).
I tried Evo-X and Anod-X and neither of those File Managers worked either.

is it perhaps that I need to lock my HD? That is something that I know I didn't do myself when I prepared the drive with AID 3.1 (Though if it does it automatically then this obviously isn't the case).
