Thats a good question revolver944,
I havent tried it for myself.. Ill move this topic into the normal forums so we can get more feedback..! Only vips who browse this section can read your topic..
Id love to ftp to my xbox too from work.. What a great idea!!
I would think it would be possible to do, if a bit tricky. I can't rememebr the name of the program cause it was years ago, but my father had a program on one of his computers at home and one of the computers at work. He could then access the his home network from work. If you were able to find one of these programs, wouldn't you then be able to access your xbox if it was on your home network? I mean I might be way off on that, but I know those programs exist.
I'll look into it more and see what I can come up with.

I'd be interested to see if this can work also...
You'd need a Static IP for your Xbox obviously, but dunno how you'd go about forwarding port 21 from it...

i've been looking around and it seems that you have to disable your firewall in order to allow port 21 to be open to do this.... that sux. but i guess if you are willing to take the chance it could be cool. just another way to screw around at work "it's not just about me and my dream of doing nothing, it's about all of us" _________________ XBOX360

got any instructions on how to do it??
It would be interesting.. You could change your xbox ftp password so then nobody can access it anyway.. port 21 is the only port open on the xbox with evox or another dashboard running ftp services..
Actually i think XBMC uses port 80 for http traffic like news, weather etc..
any info would be great.
btw. i organised the NOKIA NGAGE section for you.. Hope you like all the hard work i put in for ya.. I will be adding more and more as today progresses.. Im just linking them all now.

from what ive gathered, you need to disable your fire wall, and set your computer ip and router to match that of youx xbox along with the name, pw dns, all that shit. One of my buddies explained it to me but when he mentioned that i would have to disable the firewall, i kinda tuned him out....a bad habbit. anyway, when i get off work, ill try to get in touch with him and i'll post the results asap.
ps. thanks for help withthe ngage. cant wait to get home and start down loading....ohh yeah, is there anyway to upgrade my membership on this site from vip to life??? i wish i paid for life, but when i signed up i wasn't sure what to expect. or do i have to wait till my membership runs out? _________________ XBOX360
