I had my xbox chipped from an IT bloke at work who is no longer with the company. All was working well until I tried to connect to xbox live by mistake.
Originally to play chipped games I would have to select Music, then a certain music file, select, copy, done. From my start up screen to get into the chipped section of my xbox where I could save and play games from my hard drive, run DVD’s and media centre.
Now all that happens when I try to access my hard drive it comes up with a message.
You have reached your 100 track limit. Please delete files.
Does anyone know how a sort this. Do I need to connect my xbox to my PC or something?

I have never heard of such a thing....
Typically, games reside on the HD and to play them all you do is turn the xbox on with the modchip enabled. Some have screens where they just select the bios they want to load, others have a switch that they use.
Your setup is extremely foreign to me. Hopefully someone else who has been around a bit longer will understand the setup.
Maybe what is happening is your HD is full and that is the error that you get. Did you upgrade out of the stock HD. The stock HD is only about 8-10GB. You'd be lucky to store three games and all your apps and stuff.
You could always try to FTP into it and see what files are there and try to remove a few things.

it sounds to me like the guy who modded your xbox did so using the audio expliot. then when you logged onto/tried to log onto xbox live, live updated your dashboard, with an unexploitable dash, thus undoing the audio exploit and banning you from xbox live. not it wont let you even ftp your xbox, right? ain't M$ a bitch.
you have a couple options,
1. get a mod chip: this will take care of your problem, and you can even get yourself unbanned from xbox live by changing your eeprom
2. borrow a modchip and use an installer disk to rebuild the exploitable dashboard, then remove the chip, and do the whole audio exploit over again. _________________ XBOX360
