I'm new to replacing a hard drive. I read numerous tutorials and I thought I understood them very well. Anyway, I created and booted up an evox cd and reached the evox start up screen. However, after I get there I can't do anything else. I am not able to FTP from my computer to put any files on my hard drive and if I take the boot cd out and reboot the xbox, nothings come up but error messages. I have a 300gig hard drive installed and I want to know if there is anything out there that can install evox onto my box without backing up an old drive. My old drive was giving me problems and I would prefer to upgrade without using it at all. Please will someone help me out!!!!

JackBear, thanks for the reply. I tried to download it already but I keep getting a bit torrent file and can't seem to open it. I also download the a bit torrent program but nothing is downloading. I'm currently wainting for my V.I.P. payment to go through so I can get it here. Is there another way to get a regular file or open the bit torrent file I downloaded?

Unfortunately, all of the decent installer disks are BIG files. Xbox-HQ doesn't host them here. They put them up on Torrent sites. Once you get your VIP set up, you should be able to DL from the FTP sites.

Okay, I finally got the installer downloaded. I made the ISO cd and tried to load it up, but I keep getting error messages when i try to load it. I'm getting message 13 and sometimes 16. I believe my bios has been erased. I tried to flash a new bios to my xecuter2 pro but it isn't giving me the xecuter2 underneath the xbox symbol. I made a bios cd according to the tutorial and ran it from but it isn't flashing. When I run it I get a message saying it's flashing and will shutdown after flashing. When it boots back up it shows the bios, but when I moved the chip pin back to the "on" position xecuter2 doesn't show up and my installer cd doesn't boot up. What do I need to do now. Can I use x2bm from a boot cd?
