my dvdrom drive took a shit is there any one that could me do a recovery on my xeium ice chip it. i did everything that the tourtorial said to do but it came to be that my drive is shot. can anyone help! i need someone to so a recovery on my chip.

you can try different media , like dvd-r or dvd+R and different brands ,
maybe u didnt install the chip right , or it came lose if you used the solderless adapter

i live in ohio. i have had the chip installed for a 1yr or so but my dvd drive doesnt work any more i need a new one. i just need some one to do a recovery on my chip i can't recover it. my dvd drive makes loud screeching noise now. it won't play games or do anything.

i'm getting fragging. i have done everything to fix. the fraging i've reseted the chip half a dozen times no luck what so ever. the chip led is red. the chip is position correctly. when i do take out the chip the fragging stops. so i think the chip need to be recovered. it had been acting funny for a week before it started fraging. its a vrsion 1 xbox with soderless adapter. i have look at every thread, on what to do and i have come to the conclusion that it has to be recovered,
