I used the complete 4983 download found in the download section. The xbox boots it up and then turns off, but then when I restart on bank 1, either the cromwell pops up again, or the xbox starts flashing with no result. I bought a 120 gb hard drive with hardware included and was told that it was a "plug and play" and all I had to do was flash the 4983 bios which would be compatible with the new hhd. (The flashing was done with the new hardware installed.
If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Glad to hear, what was the issue. Wish I had more Xecuter experience... I should start installing a couple just to get it. I am more knowledgable with Xeniums...

The file for the cd from the online section is only 256kb, and I needed to doulbe it to 512 kb to make it work for the xecutor 2.3b plus lite.

What I have found very useful is to flash a 1M bios. Use X2bm and put the bios you want on bank1 in the 1st and 2nd slot of the app, to the same with bank2. When you get ready to flash select bank2 (it wont work with bank1) and flash. It will fill bank1 automatically.
I was having trouble flashing a 512 bios (or I was stupid ) and the programmer needs a 1M bios so I said what the hell. I got errors from bank1 until I switched to Bank2.
Now I have M7 on bank1 and 4977 on bank2 _________________ XBOX v1.1 - Philips DVD
