I have purchaced a wireless controller for my xbox and tried to install it. It would not read the disk. I think because it is softmodded I cannot install the software. Does anyone know if there is a way to get wireless on my xbox?

The softmod has nothing to do with it.
Install WHAT disc ?
If it's an original disc it shouldn't have problems booting, the softmod wouldn't matter.
More information from you is needed...

yea, with the xbox wireless controller, it comes with a disc. When I entered the disc in it gave me an error, could read the disc. I thought the softmod had something to do with it. If you think it didn't them maybe I just had a bad disc. I will return it for another and give it a shot.

I have 2 wireless controls. Neither are made by xbox, but both work fine. I have softmodded my xbox and I have no probs. My controllers didn't come w/ a disc either. You shouldn't have to "install" them. There shouldn't be any necessary drivers for a wireless controller. They usually just send a signal to the reciever that is plugged into your controller port.

Wow, wish my wireless controllers came with an install disc.... maybe the damned things would read better on the triggers... oh well, back to MS controller-S But, seriously, i popped this thread up because I was thinkin "Wireless after softmod" or something and it was going to be all.... Network... No disc, man.
