hi InsaneKloWn and welcome to xbox-hq ..
Have a browse through some of the posts here.. Youll see in peoples signatures what size drives they are running..
We have members who are running 200GB + HDD's here without a hitch.
Just remember most older bioses only support up to a 120 GB HDD. This doesnt mean that a 120gb wont work but it will only use 120gb of it..
You will most probably need to upgrade your bios to one of the latest which supports 120gb+ hdd's.. Anyway do a search maybe too for more info.

How many games do you plan on backing up to HD?
I have a 120GIG HD and still have 34 GIG left. I have 30 xbox games backed up to HD, and about 1200 Emulator games. I also have a ton of apps installed, movies, and mp3's.
You'd be surprised what you could store on 120GIG. If that isn't enough, then just like forahobby said. Pay attention to what the bios will allow and you can utilize larger HD's. A lot of people are going 200 and 250GIG now.
later man..good luck _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

No problem man...don't worry about overheat even from a 250GIG.
Just make sure your Xbox is in a well ventilated area...you'll be fine. Just make sure you get a bios that will handle the size!! _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

I use 250gb 7200rpm drive by maxtor which causes no problems at all. Don't worry about heat you won't have a problem. All you need to do is check the drive you buy is lockable to the xbox. I can't remeber what the link is but there is a list of drives that can somewhere, try searching on google. _________________ V1.4 Xbox
