I got a version 1.0 old school xbox and a xenium ice chip.Can anybody tell me which bios would be the best?i downloaded a x2lite bios and i think i burnt it correctly on a cd-rw.Also how do I know when the bios cd even works?when i turn on my x-box a "wlcome to OS V2.0 Pre-release"screen comes on.Then it goes to the regular menu screen with Launch menu and disk tools and that stuff.when I put in the cd-rw I burnt, nothing happens so how do I know if it even works?(nothing happens if i put in like a regular xbox game either)The tutorial says i should see a ms controller when I turn on the box then it says to press the white button to get to the config screen...?This never happens.What am i looking for to happen if the bios cd works???Also i paid the 10 bucks for a vip membership but nothing ever happened after it asked me for my information.But pay-pal did send me a email notifying me of my purchase.is it going to take awhile to get it?

Hey amptech2, I just sent you another PM about the VIP. Also, with a version 1.0 xbox and a xenium ice chip the xectuer2 bios should be fine, but what version did you grab?? Once we get your VIP sorted, we have a bunch of bios' to choose from..
I hope my step by step instruction list I sent you helps you out. I have always used 1.1 OS, so not sure if my menu and stuff is the same as the 2.0, but it should still get you in the right direction.

Hey amptech, I have created a bios disk of the 4983.67 Xecuter2 bios. I flashed an extra bank on my modchip to test, and its a good burn. I am going to upload it today at some point to the VIP/Bios/Xecuter2 section I would imagine. I will post another message when it is up. All you have to do is download it, burn it normally to a CD and then flash your chip. This way you won't have to use Nero as I have already done that.

hey amptech, how do u like ur xenium ice bios and modchip? I am purchasing that modchip soon
also incase u didn't know, the xenium chip ALWAYS load Xenium OS, no matter what, from the boot you have to decide which bios ur gonna run, which is a very good idea that u have the ability to choose right at startup
