Hi, I just got ReLaX working (FINALLY!) and after successfully watching one MythBusters .avi, I was wondering if I could play homebrew games by putting them in my ReLaX share folder. I mainly want to do this because my Xbox's HDD is running out of space and I can't afford/be bothered to upgrade it's HDD.

I'd also like to know if playing commercial games through ReLaX share is possible. I burnt my copy of Spyro wrong (yes, I still play Spyro) and every five minutes I get a "Your disc is dirty or damaged" error, when the disc is perfectly clean. As far as I know, this should work. It is my understanding that the Default.xbe doesn't "look" in D:\Spyro\xb_bin\, just \Spyro\xb_bin, so as long as the data folder and the default.xbe are in the same folder it should work. Right?

I just noticed how laggy that would be. forget that ever existed.

also, is Xlink worth the time it takes to set up, like, do many people use it? Also, would it be fine on 128K ISDN?

nope.. unfortunately its not possible to play anything from your pc hdd.. Well you could if a homebrew programmer wanted to i suppose.. But not original stuff.

I have never seen anything support this ever and i doubt it ever will.
It is possible but i would say forget about it for sure.

Get a larger hdd.. They are getting cheaper and cheaper everyday.

enjoy the site

Me and my boy have been working on this for a long time. Since we first got into modding and we wanted to load a game over the network. Unfortunately, after trying many debug setups and such, we just couldn't get it to work out.

The xbox won't allow more than one process at once, unless the main process asks for it. Hense why Unleash or XBMC can access the internet, but THUG1, can't. It would take a constant network command running either on a different Bios bank, or being commended by the .xbe itself. So far, no good.

Apparently, the 360 Will be able to execute multiple commands at once, MP3 loader while playing a game and vid chatting. So let's see where the mods go in the next few months and take it from there.
