well from what i have gathered the ice chips come preflashed mine did.
and for info on the aid disk go to http://aid.xbox-hq.com/ there are manuals on burning aid to disk. And if i were you i would burn aid to a dvd-rw to be sure it will work cd-rw can work on some of the newer dvd's
so yeh just go to the site i posted and burn aid to a disk and boot your new aid disk and install any of the dashs you want and applications.
just post in your post again for further help on your topic. _________________

My ice did not come preflashed except for the retail kernel bios. If it did not come preflashed with a hacked bios, than you need to put one in. There is a guide called "the complete noobs ice guide" or something like that. It is about 50 pages long in pdf format and it will walk you through everything in the exact order needed for the xenium ice chip. Of course, you will only need about 3 of those pages since most is about how to install the chip. But once you get all the bios's set on it, than you can load AID and have it do everything automatically for you. _________________ XBOX- V1.0

The xenium Ics has a nifty feature where you can put your bios of choice onto a thumbdrive and load the hacked BIOS from your thumbdrive, or you can connect via HTTP to your Xbox and send it there (you can even launch the bios from your PC)
For thumbdrive method use a thumbdrive formatted with FAT and the nifty USB adapter, keep in mind what folder the bios is in and on the BIOS load screen select (Im doing this from memory so my wording is probly off) load from memory (not harddrive, or TSOP) If memory serves me correct the thumbdrive will show up as H: or G:
select you BIOS and the rest is self explanitory.
I actually have a 32MB thumbdrive I have just for BIOSes. I keep EVTool on it so I can make a new bios on the fly wherever I am because I keep it in my Xbox's travel case.
For the HTTP method you need to know your Xbox's IP addy on your network. After this is known go into IE or Firefox and type "http://192.168.1.xxx" where "xxx" is the part you need to know. This will load the ICE HTTP Interface from which you can load the bios straight from your PC.
I prefer a self built BIOS, then it does exactly what you want it to do. Use EVTool to build it and remember that if your HDD is greater than 120GB use the LBA48 hack.
Holla if you need anymore help or help using EVTool.
And welcome to tha HQ!!! _________________ -Scourge "Rx = +/_\"
