Hi,
Ok i have been watching SG1 through my xbox (Network connection ot the files on my pc)
I watched every single episode through to season 8 with no problems.
All of a sudden hlf way through season 8 the playback is jumpy, looking at the files they are all the same codec and play fine on my pc through WMP.
I didnt originally do the softmod on my xbox my brother did, and iwas woundering if updating this and XBMC will help solve this problem, the only wreason i think this is that the new XBMC will suppor tmore codecs.
If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know as it is really bugging me

Very weird.. Does it still work fine for the first 1-7 seasons?? Or is it jumpy all the time..
If its only Season 8 that is playing up.. more then likely there may be some errors in the .wmv files or you need to update XBMC so you have newer codecs.
Its sounds like you were headed in the right direction anyway.
S 1-7 is fine and so is half of 8 untill i get to the last 4 episodes.
Liek you said could be a codec as they play fine on my PC but jumpy on my Xbox
I will update xbmc this week sometime and let everyone know just incase someone else has the issue.
