i have a front USB slot on my xbox from my xenium ice chip, and i was wondering ... could i plug in my Ext. HDD thumb drive 512 mb. and upload game saves or is it just for flashing my bios? just curios..

I believe you can put game saves on it, but the xbox only accepts certain brands of those thumbdrives. Maybe someone else will know for sure, but also put down what brand thumbdrive you got. _________________ XBOX- V1.0

Yes of course you can use that to run a second hdd through your xbox now it has a chip the chip oppens up the xbox beautifully making alot of tasks that werent capable now very capable.

well, i've only seen where you can flash a bios from it but i think you can use it as a 'memory card' as well...

umm, even if you could plug an external hard drive in the usb 1.1 would take forever for it to even load anything from it. furthermore, there isnt any tasks that were previously uncapable of performing by not having an external hard drive. besides, internal hard drives are much bigger, cheaper and faster than an external hard drive. so even if you could plug in an external hard drive, there isnt really much point in doing it other than to store game saves.

I forget which pen drive I have...I will have to go look at it in a bit...but one of the developers for the xenium gave it to me so I am pretty sure it will work...I will let you guys know what make it is later on. _________________ Xbox V1.6
