I want to find a way to put and Xbox and Dreamcast in a PC case. I need to know what to look for. Do I need to use the power supply from the consoles, or get the ones for the case? I wanna mod this machine to be able to save my PURCHASED games to my hard drive.

Also, I have installed an Xecuter 2.3B Pro chip in my X. I need to know what to do after I flash the bios.

Please forward info to ne0s1ntaur@aol.com

hi Cre8iveBro,

ok.. It has been done before.. We havent members here that have put xboxes into pc cases but i cant remember who it was.

You can purchase XBOX Power Supplies from here:
http://www.lik-sang.com/list.php?category=157&lsaid=999

thats if you dont want to pull out your xbox PSU..

Anyway, i was thinking about doing the same with my Dreamcast and XBOX but never have the time..

Let us know how you get on.!

Lets take this one question at a time, starting with the last and working back.

After you install the chip and flash the bios, you'll need to install a dashboard, than anyother apps you wish to have on your xbox. The easiest way to do this is with an autoinstaller such as xbox-hq autoinstaller v1.1, which can be downloaded in our VIP section. It takes you right through the steps and can be done rather easily.

Building a xbox and dreamcast into a PC case should be pretty simple. YOu'll have two game systems inside the tower, therefore you'll need a fullsize tower or server tower. You'll need everything from inside of bath console cases. Use the power supply from inside of each console for its respected console. You'll have to make ports for all of the controllers, power cords, and rca cables. Its rather simple to be able to copy your games onto the HDD with the xbox, as if you use the autoinstaller, this will be readily avaalible. On the dreamcast however, I'm not sure you can do it, as the dreamcast was not built with an internal HDD, the sega saturn was, but not the dreamcast. The hardest part of this project will be mounting everything and fixing the disk drives so they work.

Anyways I hope this was of some help, good luck

I have seen many in PC cases, clear ones too. PC Case would be much easier to do...but what's the fun in easy.
